History the stamp represents: Walt Disney Studios released its first animated film, Snow White (1937), introducing memorable villains.

Taken from the Grimm fairy tale Snow White, the queen drives the story. She sends a huntsman to kill the princess due to jealousy. The queen confronts Snow White, using dark magic to transform herself. Snow White falls, and the dwarfs arrive.

While Snow White is the heroine, critics cite the queen as the most interesting character. She changed what it meant to be a villain, proving they did not have to be ugly.
